Product Details
The Savage Axis II XP is a solid, straightforward bolt-action rifle that comes ready to shoot, scope included. It's built on a 243 Winchester cartridge, which is gentle on recoil and perfect if you're new to rifles or smaller-framed - plenty of people choose it for hunting deer and smaller game without the kick of bigger calibers. The 22-inch barrel keeps things balanced and handy, the matte finish won't reflect light, and the gray polymer stock is durable and low-maintenance. You get one magazine holding four rounds, plus that 3-9x40mm scope mounted and ready to go.
