Product Details
The Savage Axis XP Compact is built for people who don't need a full-size rifle or who prefer something that doesn't weigh a ton - think smaller-framed shooters, younger hunters, or anyone who wants a lighter carry into the field. It comes ready to shoot with a 3-9x40mm scope already mounted, a 20-inch barrel in 243 Winchester (a cartridge that's accurate and easy on the shoulder), and a simple, reliable bolt action that's straightforward to operate and maintain. The polymer stock is durable and low-maintenance, and it holds four rounds so you're not constantly reloading. This is honest rifle that does the job without fuss.
