Product Details
The Mossberg 500 is the shotgun I'd put in the hands of someone learning to shoot one for the first time - it's reliable, manageable, and the collapsible stock adjusts to fit you properly so you're not fighting the gun. This one comes set up tactically with an 18.5" barrel, 12 gauge, 3" chamber, and holds 5 rounds, making it nimble enough for home defense or sport shooting without being overwhelming. The flat dark earth finish is durable and low-key, and a bead sight keeps things simple and intuitive. You'll find this shotgun does exactly what you ask of it, every single time.
